My personal work is informed by research that explores veterans’ issues and attempts to bridge the communication gap between veterans, civilians, and clinicians. I have volunteered countless hours and gifted my design skills to several non-profit organizations that work toward benefiting military veterans and their families.
My qualifications include a Masters of Fine Art in Design from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, 2011. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Davis in 2008, with a major in Visual Communication and a minor in Chicano/Chicana Studies.
In my spare time you can find me visiting the latest art exhibit, strolling through the flea market looking for hidden treasures, hiking a mountain, reading a tech magazine, or working away at a coffee shop. If all else fails, you will find me in the kitchen cooking Mexican food while enjoying a glass (or two) of Zinfandel wine from my hometown of Lodi, CA.
