Hi, I’m Julie — a brand and web designer based in Austin, TX.
I help businesses look sharp, feel cohesive, and show up with confidence—online and off.
Since 2018, I’ve worked with corporate clients across a range of industries—bringing a creative eye, a collaborative mindset, and a dependable, detail-driven approach to every project.
Not Just a Designer — a Design Partner
As a design partner, I help SaaS and corporate clients elevate their brand and hit business goals through thoughtful, strategic design. I make brands look their best—with design that sharpens their image and websites that turn attention into action.
Clients enjoy working with me because I’m hands-on, collaborative, and stick around after launch—offering ongoing support without the layers (or costs) of a traditional agency. I’m known for being easy to work with, clear in communication, and reliable when it counts.
I stay sharp on evolving design trends and tools, and I build smart systems that help internal teams manage their new sites confidently—making handoff seamless and long-term success sustainable.
Where I Learned the Craft
My path has always been fueled by a love for design, curiosity, and a desire to keep growing—both creatively and professionally. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from UC Davis, followed by a Master’s in Design from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, where I deepened my understanding of design systems, storytelling, and human-centered thinking.
Over the years, I’ve continued to build on that foundation. I completed a UX Design Circuit Certificate through General Assembly in 2017, followed by a Front-End Web Development Certificate from Vets in Tech in 2020. Most recently, in 2024, I wrapped up a year-long business coaching program with eMyth—a hands-on, systems-driven approach to building and growing a business.
This mix of formal education, technical training, and business development gives me a well-rounded perspective—and helps me bring both creativity and structure to the work I do with my clients.
Outside the Office
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me crafting with my daughter, exploring flea markets or hiking a local trail to recharge. I love balancing the screen time of my workday with hands-on creative projects like silk screening and resin art—it keeps me inspired in a different way.
To stay active and clear my head, I train in Krav Maga—a practice that challenges me physically, sharpens my focus, and reminds me to stay present (and quick on my feet).
My favorite workspace? A cozy coffee shop. Something about the background buzz, the smell of fresh espresso, and a change of scenery always sparks new ideas and keeps me in the creative flow.
